Bostock Reservoir fishing report. Bostock is a scenic fishing destination located past Ballan heading towards Daylesford. In this fishing report, we venture up to Bostock Reservoir to target some redfin and stocked trout. This reservoir has recently been stocked with 7,000 rainbow trout fingerlings as part of the state governments target 1 million by 2020 and target 10 million by 2022 to improve fishing around Victoria. We fished for 2 hours only catching 2 small redfin and countless rainbow trout finderlings. Caught on powerbait, worms, and small soft plastic and wobbler or spoon lures.
