I took my kids fishing for 45 minutes at Canning Reserve. This is a great location on the Maribyrnong River for fishing and playgrounds for the kids. We caught 6 bream in that short session. Several bream around 36cm in length. We were fishing with scrub worms on a small basic running sinker rig. The water clarity was very brown and discoloured but it didn’t stop the bream from biting and keeping the kids interested.
