Young gun Reilley Porter was fishing the Loddon River Near Loddon House Holiday Park and the Cairn Curran Spillway. This is a beautiful spot just under 2 hours drive from Melbourne. Reilley managed to catch a beautiful 55cm Murray Cod to open up his fishing account for 2019. It put up a great fight for a fish of that size. We certainly all admire the beautiful colours on these amazing native fish. The gear used included Outlaw Hangman spinnerbait in the Green/Black colour cast towards the banks and structure slow rolled. The outfit was a Shimano Cranx Nano coupled with a Shimano Curado I701HG spooled with Daiwa J-Braid x8 30lb to a 25lb Sunline FC Rock Fluorocarbon leader. Thanks for sharing.
