Local young gun Angler James Papas got a huge thrill when he snagged this beautiful large Winter Snapper whilst flicking soft plastics on light gear around port Phillip bay. It wasn’t the target species but a wonderful by-catch that was managed very well with Bream equivalent gear not made for Big Reds like this. James was using a range of Z-man streaks and various colours. Well done James thats an amazing catch.
